Audience feedback is very important in order that we might know how the target audience who are the demographics who enjoy the stereotypical narratives of a boy meet girl story and ancillary texts; feel in regard to our products.
So first of all we had the feedback of our rough cut of the music video, which we used a HD film cam to record our audience reaction only to use their criticism to help improve our video as much as possible. All said that they liked the representation of the storyline and the editing and sync was done well to make the video flow well, which follows Todorov theory of equilibrium, because we were able to keep a physical balance.
But we had comments made in that the main character did not convey much enthusiasm in the lyrics at certain times. We wanted to demonstrate his love for her through actions more than emotion through the lip syncing, but it seems we should of done more to make it clear.
